I could not resist this. Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer Women's Fashion Show in Paris. Guy and Thomas remix a set that climaxes with a mash-up of Lex by Ratatat and Technologic. All this before the grand finale where they go after what is basically their own: Stronger by Kanye.
You probably know Ratatat from "17 Years" featured in an old Hummer commercial. With a song called "Lex" and another called "Wildcat" (off the
Classics album), I was sure that they had Kentucky ties. No such luck- they're from Brooklyn. Anyway, these dudes are awesome on their own, but it seems to me that Daft Punk could remix Maura's karaoke and make it a winner. I haven't even mentioned the
YouTube Vuitton models.
